The site also had 5 buildings which saw the installation of eight AHUs, 50 VAVs, three ERVs, split system, exhaust fans, ductwork, mechanical electrical and MSSBs and Schneider BMS. This project included the complete demolition of the chiller plant room and the installation of two new water cooled Carrier Chillers, two new BAC cooling towers, eight pumps, Buffer and Expansion tanks with Auto-refill unit, new MSSBs and a Carrier I-Vu Chiller Management System (CMS) along with new Mechanical Electrical, Chiller water pipework and condenser pipework. The external cooling tower enclosure was also upgraded with new louvres to suit the new installation. This project included the complete demolition of multiple DX packaged units in 4 separate buildings and the installation of new CHW AHUs to those buildings. These works were carried out over weekend periods, to minimise the disruption to the school. New site wide CHW reticulation pipework was installed to service the new AHUs in the existing buildings and for future upgrades. United built a new fully enclosed central chiller plant room at the rear of the school, which included the installation of two chillers, cooling tower, pumps, buffer tank and new CHW pipework. This project also saw the installation of a new site wide Innotech BMS system to control the new CHW systems.
